Fertilizer Blending Plants

Four Fertilizer Blending Plants have been constructed, two in Lafia and one each in Akwanga and Keffi.

The Plants in Akwanga and Keffi have been concessioned to Habitat Building Concepts and Fintro Africa Ltd respectively,  subject to signing of agreement with the State Government. Accordingly, the Ministry is discussing with intending lessees who have forwarded expression of interest to lease the plants in Lafia.

However, the Plant in the Faculty of Agriculture, Nasarawa  State University, Lafia has been handed over Nasarawa State  University to be used as a centre of research and studies.
