Sacks and Packaging Factory, Akwanga

The Factory was established in 2002 and managed by Bopolystore Nigeria Limited under a Management Services Agreement.

Upon the withdrawal of Bopolystore it was leased out to Tarihi Global  Services Nigeria Limited  and later Young Plastics Nigeria Limited which the arrangement expired in 2017.

Presently, the plant is being turned around to add new lines of production to meet up with the current market demands. However, the Ministry is currently discussing with KAYAHA GLOBAL LINKS NIG. LTD based on their Expression of interest to lease the factory. The firm having carried out due diligence assessment of the factory is in discussion with the government for the lease of the factory.
